"ONE: You’re telling me you didn’t feel the...need...once you started the regimen? It comes in
handy, I’m telling you. And the ones they distribute to the candidates are far superior to any
you can purchase on the black market.

TWO: Okay, listen. The day I bought my own, was the first - and last - time I had purchased

anything...well-

Julie has been commissioned numerous times to write jukebox musical theatre scripts for arts education programs in Alberta and British Columbia. With experience as an actor, choreographer, music director, designer and theatre instructor, her strength is in her ability to tailor scripts to suit the educational and technical needs of the studio, while coming up with innovative and fun ideas that are enjoyed by both the students, and their parents watching in the audience.

"I’ve worked with Julie for a few years now, commissioning her to write the script/book for our month-long musical theatre camp for students ages 8-13, which goes into a full production process. Julie is a tremendous collaborator, and a smart playwright for children and youth. She values theatre education and understands the nature of learning through theatre arts. Her priority is to set up the students for the greatest success! She is so generously flexible in her process and responsive in her product, at the same time as maintaining a beautiful sense of individual integrity and investment – truly an asset to any creative team."
